Dawn Spitz is a prize-winning poet, having won first prizes for sonnets from the Palm Springs Writers Guild and the NLAPW. Her work has also been published in several magazines. Additionally, she sings, has played several leading roles in Community Theater productions, and was for many years a church soloist.
