Members and guests enjoyed our season opener luncheon and program at Bird Key Yacht Club on October 12, 2022. Not only did we get a preview of our season but we also had time to greet one another after the summer and a major hurricane! Two of our members found themselves in the spotlight: Marge Bennett and Maddy Ginsburg were the first members to participate in our new monthly “Spotlight our Members” program. They each took a few minutes to share themselves and their creativity with us. So informative and entertaining for our members as we get to know more and more about one another!
Then, Sandy Moulin, a one-woman show, presented an original monologue about her life, her creative process, and she played a sampling of Gershwin on the piano for us. We are excited to have her soon join us as a Sarasota Pen Woman. She was a one-woman show—with the energy of ten of us! What a delight.
