R.D. Petti, a lifelong writer, worked as an editor and program manager for the federal government overseas. Her adult fiction and non-fiction explore the themes of self-discovery and well-being. A nature enthusiast, she supports wildlife conversation programs and aims to inspire passion for the environment in young readers through her upcoming Backyard Bunny children’s chapter book series, scheduled for publication in 2026. Currently, she serves as VP, Fundraising for the NLAPW Sarasota, FL Branch.
